Located at about 4,600 ft (1,400 m), Kathmandu Valley is Nepal’s cultural and political center, home to Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan. It is famous for ancient temples and UNESCO sites like Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa.

After arriving, enjoy a relaxed walk through the charming old town. Return to your hotel to rest and get ready for the next day’s adventure.
Today, after breakfast, drive from Bandipur to Chitwan Sauraha, passing through scenic hills, farmlands, and lush forests. As you descend into the lowlands, you’ll notice the shift in landscape and culture.
Chitwan is home to the Tharu community and sits near Chitwan National Park, known for its rich wildlife and natural beauty. Once you reach your hotel, your jungle activity program will be arranged by the hotel team. Meet with them for your schedule and instructions. Today, after breakfast, drive to Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. The road is mostly smooth with some bumpy sections, passing through flat plains, farmland, and small towns.
Once you arrive in Lumbini, your guide will take you on a detailed exploration of the sacred garden, Maya Devi Temple, and the monastic zone, where you’ll see temples built by Buddhist communities from around the world.
