Ready to step into the trail before setting foot in Nepal? Let’s begin.
Day 1: Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding (2,610 m)
Your journey begins with a scenic early-morning flight from Kathmandu or Ramechhap to Lukla (2,860 m). Once the Twin Otters touch down on the iconic sloping runway, the trek officially starts with a 3–4 hour hike to Phakding.
On the trail, the sun filters through pine forests, prayer flags flutter inwashed in the Dudh Koshi valley, and you’ll cross your first suspension bridge. Arriving at Phakding, the pace slows; afternoon tea sets the tone for gentle camaraderie and euphoria knowing your quest has begun.
Highlights: Lukla runway rush, forested trail, first teahouse dinner.
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
A steadier day of trekking introduces you to the grandeur of Sherpa culture and rising altitude. You’ll cross the Dudh Koshi multiple times, climb steep stone staircases, and reach the strategic checkpoint for your Sagarmatha National Park Permit and Khumbu Pasang Lhamu permit.
By late afternoon, you’ll reach bustling Namche Bazaar, your first taste of altitude (3,440 m). Teahouse balconies offer your first viewpoint of Everest and Ama Dablam—an unforgettable welcome.
Teahouse tip: settle into Hotel Namche or Panorama Lodge—warm showers and high-altitude bakery breads await.

Day 3: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar
Acclimatization is key. We'll spend the day hiking to Khunde (3,840 m) and Khumjung, exploring the Hillary School and Tengboche view-cabin. In the afternoon, tea-time chats and stargazing wind down the day.
This gentle ascent—followed by a descent to Namche—builds altitude resilience and keeps symptoms at bay.
Local insight: our guides foster team unity during this rest day—a cornerstone of our safe trekking ethos.
Day 4: Namche to Tengboche (3,860 m)
Today’s hike rises through pine and rhododendron forests, bringing you to the venerable Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m). It’s a sacred oasis with awe-inducing views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse.
We often time arrival for puja ceremonies—a serene cultural immersion before dinner, followed by stellar sunsets and dusk hymns.
Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m)
Above Tengboche, the treeline thins and the landscape opens to glacier valleys. Steep climbs carry you past Deboche and Pangboche, dropping briefly over stone staircases before ascending to Dingboche (4,410 m).
Afternoon tea in Dingboche teahouses is a moment of respite—listen to the jingling yaks, catch your breath, and prepare for a crucial acclimatization day.
Day 6: Acclimatization in Dingboche
Another acclimatization day means we climb Kala Patthar viewpoints nestled around Dingboche (4,800 m+). The village's stone lodges offer warm soup, hot showers, and cozy gatherings—tempering the altitude with comfort.
Cordially paced hikes today bolster your acclimatization ahead of Lobuche.
Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940 m)
An invigorating morning ascent takes you past Imja Khola and memorials to fallen climbers. Upon reaching the tiny settlement of Lobuche, altitude may be noticeable. But this evening brings mental victory—tomorrow is Everest Base Camp day.
Choose lodgings like Oxygen Altitude Lodge or Mother Earth House—quiet and close to sunrise vantage areas.
Day 8: Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)
Today is the trek's high point. An initial 2–3 hour uphill brings you to Gorakshep (5,164 m), where you’ll drop your pack and push 3 hours further to Everest Base Camp. Glacier snouts, prayer flags, and the distant bustle of climbers fill the scene.
The return to Gorakshep sets the stage for overnight reflection—what you came for is now behind you.
Day 9: Kala Patthar (5,545 m) Sunrise, Descent to Pheriche
An early start (around 4 AM) takes us to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) for a sunrise climactic view of Everest. The first light over the Khumbu Glacier is unforgettable.
After descending, you’ll head down to Pheriche (4,240 m), reflecting on achievement and allowing your body to recover.
Day 10: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
A long descent brings you back through seracs, past Tengboche and Namche, retracing your route with new confidence. Expect celebratory cheers as familiar landmarks appear.
Our guides orchestrate high-fives in Namche Bazaar—currency earned from altitude, endurance, and camaraderie.
Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
The final long day. Relaxed descent through forest and villages, ending where it began—Lukla. The air feels different now—low altitude, pine fragrance, and a profound sense of closure.
Tonight, celebrate with your team—stories of the trail, laughter, and the conclusion of a shared odyssey.
Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu
After breakfast and farewells, it's your return flight to ****Kathmandu, or optional helicopter for a premium send-off. Back in the valley’s lush bustle, you’ll carry mountains in your heart.
Evening in Thamel: a well-earned hot shower, celebratory Nepali dinner, and rest before onward travel.
