From Gokyo Ri to the Foot of Everest
This route felt less crowded in the beginning and the lakes were absolutely stunning. Reaching Everest Base Camp after crossing Cho La Pass felt like a real achievement. Our guide, Pasang Sherpa, shared fascinating insights about local culture and mountains. The porters were strong and always smiling. Sole Encounters Adventures handled logistics perfectly. I always felt safe and supported.

Our Everest Base Camp trek with Sole Encounters Trekking was incredible.Despite a flight delay and bad weather, the team handled everything, even arranging a helicopter back to Kathmandu. Our guide, Pasang Sherpa, was outstanding-professional and caring. The views were breathtaking, and the Nepali people made the experience even better. At nearly 64, the trek was challenging but rewarding. My daughter is eager to return for more adventures with Sole Encounters. Highly recommend them for an unforgettable trek!

In March 2014, our group of nine, including my 61-year-old mother, trekked up Langtang Valley with the outstanding guidance of Prem Tamang. He went above and beyond to care for everyone, especially the less experienced trekkers, making the journey safe and enjoyable for all-my mother in particular. We later explored the stunning Khopra Danda, a trek we absolutely loved for its breathtaking scenery. A Trek Full of Surprises, Laughter, and Incredible Views
What an unforgettable adventure! Our guide, Mr. Lila, and porter, Mr. Suresh Lama, were both fun and professional, making Sarah and me feel safe throughout the trek. We loved the cozy tea houses, delicious local food, and even had hot showers! A highlight was my proposal at Kyanjin Ri-though due to a funny translation mix-up, Mr. Lila Guide surprised us with a full wedding ceremony! During the trek, my guide Jyoti and his porter provided exceptional support and encouragement. They looked after me every step of the way, making sure I felt secure and well taken care of. I can confidently say that women can travel with this company and feel completely safe. I am 100% sure of it.
